ABOUT CIRCLE T RANCH AZ

Both Brendon and I grew up spending time on our families ranches. Horses, cows, and land has always been a part of our lives. The dream was always to have land and animals one day but there was never "plan" as to when that one-day would be. Then came the chickens. Haylee, our oldest daughter, wanted chickens and did a whole presentation as to why she wanted chickens. We then set up a little coop in our suburban backyard and hatched 4 chicken eggs. After then adopting 2 more chickens we were quickly out of room in the coop. Then came the horseback riding lessons. Naomi, our youngest daughter, went to a horseback riding birthday party and fell in love with horses... one named Tucker in particular. We decided to do horseback riding lessons and I joined in as well. The girls loved it so much and started talking about wanting horses "one day". 6 Chickens and horseback riding lessons very quickly turned into needing more land, no HOA, and room for all the other animals we were dreaming of. At the most perfect time, the most perfect property went on the market and we jumped on it. At that moment Circle T Ranch Arizona was born and we are so excited to share our adventure with you!

Meet Brendon and Rischelle

Welcome to Circle T Ranch Arizona! Im Rischelle and my husband Brendon and I are the owners of Circle T Ranch Arizona. Brendon and I are both Arizona natives, born and raised in the valley. We met in high school and started dating shortly after and have been inseparable ever since. Together for 20+ years and married for 15 of those, we have had so many hobbies and life adventures together. I have been an RN for 16 years but retired from bedside 5 years ago to stay home with our girls. Brendon is a Fire Captain here in the valley and together we own 3 businesses. We have two beautiful daughters who attend a micro school-homeschool hybrid program that has given us so much more freedom and family time to do stuff together. Circle T Ranch came to be from a sense of adventure, love of animals, wanting land and space, and sharing it with those around us! You read a little bit about how our ranch became reality, now meet two of the important characters that played the biggest roles...

...Meet Tucker

Meet Tucker. We owe a lot of the creation of Circle T Ranch Arizona to Tucker. Tucker was the first horse our daughter fell in love with when she met him at a birthday party. Naomi wanted to take lessons at the specific ranch mainly to just see Tucker again. She told everyone she met about "her horse" and how excited she was to go back and ride him. By the time the weather cooled off and we started lessons, Tucker had been put on stall rest due to a back injury. Naomi was devastated but we had hopes after stall rest he'd be back in the arena soon. The next lesson we went to, Tucker had been moved to the instructor's house for "indefinite stall rest". There were lots of tears but Amy (does that name sound familiar?), the instructor, said that we were welcome to come visit him. Which leads me to the greatest part of our story...

...Meet Amy

Amy was our horsemanship instructor at the lesson ranch we were at. Right off the bat, Amy had the best energy about her and was one of the best teachers the girls had at any of their extracurricular actives, it was an immediate friendship. Amy told us we could come visit Tucker any time at her house, and although I'm not sure it was an actual invitation vs just a nice offer, we jumped the chance. The day we visited Tucker we got to know Amy a lot more. She told us about the vision she had one day for her own business and horsemanship program. The vision was different than any of the other lesson places we looked into and I was sold on her idea. I asked her seriously, if Brendon and I ever bought land and horse stalls , would she want to come and start her program there. She said that would be awesome, and other people had offered her the same thing but it never came to fruition. Little did she know, once Brendon and I decide we want something, nothing will stop us from making it happen. A few months later we were in the process of buying our new property and offered Amy to come live on property with us and help make our ranch dreams and her horsemanship dreams come to life. Somethings can only be explained by divine intervention and we all knew God had brought us together for this amazing new adventure. We started making plans, packing up our houses, buying horses, and diving head first into starting our businesses Circle T Ranch Arizona and Community Horse Power. During that time, Tucker's owners at the lesson ranch decided it was time to find a good home for him to retire to since he was no longer able to be a lesson horse. We asked if we could adopt him and the whole thing came full circle when they said yes. Tucker was brought home to Circle T Ranch Arizona to live out his days as a pasture-puppy-ornament-mascot and as a reminder to us all that dreams really can come true with a sense of adventure, the willingness to try, and the boldness to jump into the unknown.
