Community Horse Power is committed to helping riders learn horsemanship skills from the very start. The Community Horse Power Pathways were developed to help riders of all skill levels and ages advance in their horsemanship journey by building their foundation of horse knowledge step by step so they can confidently, safely, appropriately handle and ride their horse while creating lasting bonds and nurturing the love of horses.
The Pathways:
Learn-Learning the basics of horsemanship
Grow-Building horsemanship skills
Ride- Developing confidence and partnership with horses
Lead- Learning to show independence, responsibility, and leadership on and off my horse.
Mentor-Leads by example and is able to help others with their horsemanship skill.
Every student will go through each pathway and advance when they demonstrate the skill, safety, and horsemanship of the pathway's goal. Advancement is not based on age, time, or riding ability alone.
